With a deep desire to experience God, our Lenten study will venture into Jesus' suffering in the last week of his life on Earth. Using Dr. Amy-Jill Levine's book Entering the Passion of Jesus , we will lift up several experiences Jesus had in his journey to the cross. We will not only try to understand the circumstances around it, but delve into how it felt for Jesus and others at that moment in time. We will have opportunities to imagine ourselves in the story and share our experiences.
