Rev. Albert Hahn

"Your JOY may be complete" (John 16:24) guides his life and ministry.  He believes that life and ministry are God-given opportunities for us to seek joy rather than responsibilities we must carry out as followers of Jesus.  Christian worship, fellowship and mission are the best ways for us to enhance joy for ourselves and our neighbors.  With this conviction, he has been serving various churches in NYC, CT, Virginia, Catskill and on Long Island since 1992. He was ordained as. provisionary member in 1994 (Northern New Jersey Conference) and as a full Elder in 1997 (New York Annual Conference).  His education includes three Masters degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary, Union Theological Seminary in NYC and Boston University School of Theology and a Doctor of Ministry from Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado.  He also completed certificate programs in pastoral counseling, spiritual direction, coaching and Christian leadership. He is especially passionate about preaching, leadership development and contemplative prayer. He used to enjoy racketball, hiking and table tennis but he is now exploring more different hobbies.  He is married to Rev. Juhye Hahn, pastor at Faith UMC in North Haven, CT.  They are blessed with  a son and a daughter. Peter is a computer program developer in Boston and Harim is a college student majoring in Computer Science.
