Snowball Mountain Challenge invites kids to an exciting winter sports event where they become Challengers, gearing up for frosty games, snowy surprises, and hands-on lessons about resilience and faith. They will join their Activities Director Ollie the Artic Seal and come to realize that with the strength God provides, they can share their gifts, be brave, give their all, pray, and hope.

4 Reasons to Attend Vacation Bible School at NUMC

01 - Gives parents and caregivers 2+ hours of peace to focus on their own self-care

02 - Children will make new friends while engaging in a variety of activities from music to sports to arts and crafts...plus snack!

03 - Learn about values, friendly Bible stories and the teachings of Jesus in a relaxed, no pressure environment 

04 - VBS is FREE for members and non-members of NUMC. Bring a friend!

Additional Info:​

  • Please join us on Sunday July 19th at 10:00am for the VBS music celebration when the children will showcase what  they’ve learned and sing VBS songs for the congregation

  • All preschoolers must be fully potty trained.

  • Snacks will be provided during VBS. However, please ensure your child eats dinner before attending.

  • 5th and 6th graders can sign up to be "Counselors in Training" and serve as group leaders to younger campers

Volunteer Registration

Are you looking to share your talents with the church through our children’s ministry? Vacation Bible School is in need of volunteers our summer 2026 program

 

  • Both adults and youth 13 and older are welcome to volunteer during our VBS program.

  • All adult volunteers will need to attend a Safe Sanctuary training on June 14th at 11:15am and have a background check

  • We will be conducting a volunteer meeting on Sunday July 12th at 11:15am to go over schedules, group assignments, etc. 

  • All volunteers will also need to attend a VBS training (details to follow)

Please note: All VBS volunteers must be Safe Sanctuary certified and background checked to participate. A Safe Sanctuary training will be held on Sunday June 14th following 10am worship service in the Lounge.
